Kanpur- the BJP members on Tuesday Visit the office of vice chancellor’s office CSJMU. They Demand for record of ex-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s post-graduation documents. The record was found missing. After that Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman approached Agra’s Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (BRAU) for it in June.

DAV College as well as the Kanpur University has denied having the record. Then BRAU registrar B K Pandey had accepted Sitharaman had required the record for a personal documentary project.
BJP city unit president Surendra Maithani and several other party workers challenged CSJMU vice-chancellor Jayant Vinayak Vaishampayan over the issue on Monday. Vaishampayan said that Vajpayee did his MA in Political Science from DAV College in 1947. He said CSJMU was established in 1966.
