UGC Instructs Universities To Initiate Online Admission System

All the universities affiliated with UGC have been issued instructions to start Online Admission System for admissions and other programs. As per newspaper reports, Preparations for the next academic session commencing from June-July, 2016 will soon be done by the colleges.

The UGC chairman, Ved Prakash has asked all the universities to give ‘top priority’ in making their ‘Admission System Online’ for all the programs offered. This program will provide more options to students to make perfect choice for his/her career.

If the admissions are not done online, or are only moderately online, then they have to specify the steps proposed by their university for changing it into a complete online mode from the academic session 2016-17. That means if a university does not have a complete online admission process then they must have proposal for implementing this online system in upcoming session.

Ugc will be review online admission system in upcoming meeting which scheduled in month of January. Accordingly, universities are requested to initiate urgent steps for online admissions.
