PSEB 12th Result 2015 Announced, Girls Secured Top 3 Positions

Punjab School Education Board has published the Punjab board 12th result after a long excitment, wait and eagerness. The PSEB released the 12th result  on 12th May 2015 in the Sunny afternoon at 1pm.

As per the Board officials, the Top 3 spots are secured by the Girls students. Punjab board merit list is available now. The result was declared in Mohali city. Students can get the Punjab 12th result at board website or the PSEB class 12th result is exclusively available at IndiaResults.com Portal.

First Rank is jointly hold by Darshveer Kaur, RS Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, and, Samia Rasid, Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Ropar, both scored 450 out of 450.

Second topper is Sarika Vinayak, a humanities student of BCM Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, has secured 99.78%.

Third position is jointly shared by Kajal Tandon, science stream from RS Model Senior Secondary School and Nistha Juneja (humanities student) from BCM Senior Secondary School, securing 99.56 per cent marks.

Education plus Sports and Punjab got the girls at top:

  • Darshveer Kaur is a national level baseball player.
  • Saima has represented Punjab in table tennis.
  • Sarika is a national-level baseball and softball player.
    All these girls are National level sportspersons and have got 15 grace marks under the sports quota.

Some Statistics from Punjab board 12th exams are:

  • There are 350646 students appeared in PSEB 12th exams.
  • The Pass percentage is: Overall: 76.24%, Girls: 83.26%, Boys: 70.73%.
  • The pass percentage was 81.09% in 2014 and 78.97% in 2013.
