CBSE Books Will Be Available Online For Free – Said Smriti Irani
Smriti Irani, HRD Minister, Said that all cbse books will be available online for students. She is taking forward the vision of prime minister for digital India.
According to press reports, In East Delhi kendriya Vidyalaya, while she addressing the students she said that “We made NCERT books available online for free through e-books and mobile applications a month-and-a-half ago. We are similarly going to make CBSE books available online, along with additional learning material and videos as part of our good governance efforts,”
Later Irani also asked her ministry’s officials to start ‘Baal Sabha’ (Child Conventions). These conventions will help students to interact with authorities from fields like defense, to help the former grow into “good human beings”.
Earlier, Ministry of Human Resource Development had launched so many mobile phone apps and web-based Apps to help students in study. This online system will also help parents to keep a track on performance of their children.
According to the reports, Smriti Irani said, “Through mobile apps and website ‘E-pathshala’ students, parents and teachers can access study material online. We are trying to leverage technology not only to bring more transparency in school education system but also to create new learning opportunities for the children.”
