Delhi Government Offers Education Loan Up to 10 Lakhs

In Delhi on 9 September, Delhi government launched a Scheme for Students in this government Provide education loan up to 10 Lakh. Manish Sisodia start this Program by distributing cheques to the first 25 Students. At the function approximately Cheques of worth 75 distributed.

In this Program Government help those parents who do not have property as a guarantee to loan. Honorable education minister said “We will take their guarantee and give them a chance to study and not let finance become a hurdle in their education.”

Manish Sisodia said many students fail to continue studies because they don’t have proper resource so government provide them easy education loan for the good future of students.

Even Delhi government employees also eligible for this scheme and there is no age limit for the students. He or she expected to repay the loan in given time through EMI.

Minister said that success of scheme depends on students. Students have to repay the loan in given time. “We take the guarantee of those students who fail to get a job despite higher education. But this trust will break if students do not repay even after getting jobs,”

Education loan will cover these entire expenses- Course fee, instruments, computer, equipment and all other necessary things. Interest rate is based on the 12th Percentage.
